If you are going to want a valid warranty and any in-home service that the manufacturer offers, you will have to buy an adjustable bed new. It is best to purchase a new adjustable bed that comes in the right size and options for you as well as coming with the full warranty. Don't risk inheriting someone else's problem to save a few dollars.
